Every small, medium or large business need to create a brand name for maximum success. Be it offline or online, establishing your brand name is essential.
You may say, why? Isn’t having a business and getting customers not enough to run a business successfully?
Yes, of course, that’s true! Acquiring customers is necessary for running a business. But don’t you think popularizing your brand name side-by-side is equally important?
Let’s take an example. You know there are many branded sunglasses, cosmetics, watches, etc. and there are many non-branded ones as well. When you are looking to buy something (say watches), which watch would you go for? Would you buy a branded watch that offers guarantee and much better quality though for a bit more price or a non-branded one that doesn’t offer guarantee and is of inferior quality?
I’m sure you’d go for the branded one, of course if you were not looking for short-term, use and throw watch. Besides, it has become a trend among the youth nowadays to buy branded stuff.
When it comes to business, you need a brand name to gain the maximum popularity so that you can maximize conversions.
Creating a brand name offline is not what I’m going to discuss here. I’ll discuss ways to create a brand name solely through blogging.
The first way to create a brand name is starting your own blog. If you already have one, then you’re already ahead in the game. However, if you still don’t have a blog, you can check out WordPress platform to start a blog.
Blog on the topic you’re familiar with. Establish yourself as an expert in the niche and join in various industry-related discussions.
Give your unique opinion from your perspective and don’t repeat what others are saying.
Blog with a unique style and educate your readers and potential customers. Give them in-depth information or something useful for them in order to make your brand name successful and popular.
The second way to create a brand name is through posting. Guest posting has become very popular now because of the results people have been getting by posting articles to others blogs.
If you post to someone’s blog as a guest (of course, the blog where you guest post must have greater readership than yours) and if the readers of that blog find your post useful, they’ll be eager to share the content and might click through to your blog to find some more informative stuff.
This way, your brand name gets exposure to more and more people and your readership count increases as well.
The third way to create a brand name is through commenting. This may not give you instant recognition but will aid the first two methods.
When you’re reading a blog and find it worth commenting on, make sure to do so. The comment must add value to the post. It may be a question, your opinion, or something useful. Even if you disagree to the post, you can comment and put your opinion.
Now, if you have a blog or a website, people reading your comments generally tend to click through to your site. Thus, your site gets exposure to a lot of people and your brand name gets popular.
Using blogs to create a brand name isn’t the quickest method but very effective for long-term. The main thing is to keep patience and work smartly for long-term success. It may take days, months or even a year but the results you will get bring long-term benefits.
What’s your take on creating a brand name to gain popularity? Do you think leveraging blogs is the right way? Do you use any other method to make your brand name popular?
